Dear families and carers,
Welcome back to Term 4! It’s been wonderful to see everyone returning to school in their summer uniforms, full of stories and excitement from their holidays. The energy and chatter around the playground and classrooms has been contagious as students have reconnected with friends and teachers. This term holds so many opportunities for learning, celebration, and community, and it’s lovely to begin the final chapter of the year together with such a positive and enthusiastic start.
This week we celebrate Children’s Week 2025, a special time to recognise the rights, voices, and unique strengths of every child. At Holy Trinity, we value our learners as active participants in their education celebrating their ideas, perspectives, and questions that shape the vibrant learning community we are building together. As Pilgrims of Hope, we are reminded that our children not only hold the future in their hands but are living it now, through their faith, hope and love. This week is a celebration of their voices and the gifts they bring to our school each day.
As we begin planning our classes for 2026, our focus is on creating balanced and supportive learning environments where every child can flourish. We know our families place great trust in us as professionals to carefully consider the best placement for each student. While we do endeavour to place children with their friends, there are many factors we take into account when forming classes, including learning needs, social dynamics, and group balance. Our priority is always to create the best possible environment for your child’s learning and wellbeing. For this reason, we are unable to accommodate specific friendship or teacher requests. If there is important information you feel we should be aware of to support your child’s placement, please email me directly.
This Friday evening as part of our Children's Week celebrations we are holding our inaugural family tennis twilight challenge. We look forward to seeing many parent/child teams, continuing our love of tennis at Holy Trinity. Feel free to drop in and watch, cheer and join us for a sausage sizzle from 3.30pm.
Yours in Faith, Hope and Love

Shaping Our Shared Vision
At Holy Trinity Early Learning Centre, our philosophy is more than a statement; it’s the heartbeat of our community. We have recently engaged in a reflective process to review and renew our ELC Philosophy, ensuring it continues to represent the beliefs, values and hopes that underpin our daily work with children and families.
In true Holy Trinity spirit, this process was deeply collaborative. Children, families and educators were all invited to share their perspectives and experiences, creating space for conversation and shared reflection. The result is a philosophy written by our community, for our community - one that honours the relationships, curiosity and sense of belonging that define our ELC.
Our updated philosophy celebrates children as capable and competent learners, recognises families as their first and most influential teachers and highlights our commitment to learning that is both joyful and deeply connected to our world.
We are grateful to everyone who contributed to this process, helping us to shape a philosophy that reflects who we are, what we value and the kind of community we continue to grow together.
